I Love The Way You Rap ......

George and I were truly hippies in the late 60-70’s when we met. We wore those hip hugger jeans and George mostly his Army Fatigues because he had just finished his tour in Vietnam Nam. I loved the peasant dresses. George would have some of his stage clothes custom made and we still have one of his Neru Jackets next to my wedding dress on mannequins in the Television room.

Our first date we went to Orchard Beach in the Bronx and I remember one of the things he said to me was, “I love the way you rap”... kids today would have a wrong idea of that term, back then it was referring to just talking.. we had cool terms like “yeah man”, “groovy”, “that’s solid”,”I really dig you”,”right on”, “ I’m hip”, “way out”, “sock it to me”, “it don’t mean nothing”, “that’s way out man”,

I thought anyone that loves my talking I need to hang on to..... He still loves my rap......

Later on in our relationship when we had picked a wedding date, I was worried about what if we run out of things to talk about... ha haaaa
George will tell you that has not happened yet and we are going on 48 yrs. Life is so interesting and we meet so many wonderful people.

I had a similar thought one day about my stories. I said to Father God, what if I run out of interesting things to say? I immediately felt a strong impression in my spirit that as long as I stay in the word and prayer, there are infinite stories to write....

We still spend lots of time everyday rapping about what ever has happened and our prayers. I use a much greater number of words than George to rap and he is a good listener.

Are you ready in season and out of season to share the love of God with people you meet.
(2 Tim 4::2)You have the power of life or death in your mouth. (Prov 18:21)You can unlock the door to salvation for a stranger or friend. I encourage you to rap about Jesus and tell your own story. We all have interesting events in our lives....
We have overcome by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony....
(Rev 12:11)
